Iittala Byredo x Iittala – Ljus
Candle ornament 115x52mm
LJUS is a meeting of two Nordic houses, IITTALA and BYREDO, united by craftsmanship, culture and a belief in the power of everyday ritual. Shaped through glass and animated by flame, the collection transforms everyday moments into rituals of light and scent. The candle ornament is an ingenious glass object which combines artful glassmaking craftsmanship and uninhibited creativity. Each piece is mouth-blown and hand-crafted at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland. The glass ornament is placed atop a filled or scented candle vessel as a decorative lid when the cadle is not in use, and it can also be used as a candle stand. The ornament is designed for the Byredo scented candle 240 g. A perfect pair is the Byredo ‘Bibliothèque’ scented candle, available separately. Note: Never use to extinguish a burning candle.
