Ice platter art piece 135x24mm

Tapio Wirkkala designed this decorative ice platter in 1976. It is the perfect eye-catching piece for both interior design and serving. Perfect for serving sushi or handmade chocolates. It’s also an excellent choice for displaying your jewellery or even showcasing your favourite perfumes in the bathroom.

This stunning decorative ice platter is handcrafted by casting molten glass into a mould, which is then spun so the glass spreads out and takes the shape of the object. The moulds used are the original ones, handcrafted by Tapio Wirkkala himself. Each ice platter is signed with the designer’s initials and the year of manufacture. Please note that the ice platter is not suitable for candles.
