Polar fox 220x300mm

Limited edition of 1000 numbered pieces

Iittala Vulpes are exquisite objects in contemporary glass art that combine the expertise of the Iittala glassblowers and the artistic whimsy of designer Klaus Haapaniemi. Each piece is handmade at the Iittala Glass Factory and goes through a technically challenging process that combines hot and cold techniques. The result is a unique glass art object that has transformed Haapaniemi’s two-dimensional illustrations into a remarkable three dimensional glass art creation. Vulpes art pieces are collector’s items that increase in value over time and come with a certificate of authenticity. Bright blue accentuates the Vulpes Polar fox’s body and bushy tail. While his big eyes and snout are highlighted in white. Creates striking impact.
