Aalto vase 120 mm in Finnish sand celebrates the 90th anniversary of Alvar Aalto's iconic design. In special occasions, such as this, Iittala uses Finnish sand for the Aalto vases. The natural sand harvested from Karvia, Finland, includes iron, which colours the glass green – no extra tones added. Mouthblown, hand-cut, and then polished by Iittala Glass Facory's artisans, the result is a beautiful, earthy green vase which goes well with any colour flowers. The 120-mm vase is best for medium-sized bouquets and arrangements.

  • Special signature: AALTO 90
  • The sand used in glassmaking comes from Karvia, Finland
  • Mouthblown to a metal mould and hand-crafted in Finland
