Vase 160 mm Finnish sand

Aalto vase 160 mm in Finnish sand celebrates the 90 years of the iconic Aalto design. The speciality of this anniversary edition is the use of Finnish sand for the glass. The natural sand harvested from Karvia, Finland, includes iron, which gives the glass a green tone – no additional pigments needed. Mouthblown, hand-cut, and polished at the Iittala Glass Factory, this vase is a great example of Finnish glassmaking expertise and traditions that have been maintained for centuries. The 160-mm vase is designed for fuller bouquets and arrangements, while the natural green hue complements flowers beautifully. The Finnish sand is used only on special occasions, making this vase a sought-after collector's gem and a prestigious gift.
